Day 01 Arrive Kathmandu
Arrive Kathmandu, the capital of the mountain kingdom of Nepal. Your tour includes exploration of the Durbar Square (the royal court of public audience, found in most Nepalese towns) with its abundance of lovely temples, bazaars and the Royal Palace. Enjoy a magnificent view of Kathmandu from Swayambunath, also known as the monkey temple. Overnight at the hotel.

   
Day 02 In Kathmandu
Morning visit Bhaktapur “City of Devotees.” The Durbar Square includes interesting temples and palaces, the Big Bell-once rung to usher in curfew, the Bell of the Barking Dogs, the Lion Gate, the Picture Gallery and the famous Golden Gate-opening the way to the courtyard of the Palaces of 55 Windows, topped by the figure of Goddess Kali. Afternoon at leisure and overnight at the Hotel.

   
Day 03 Kathmandu / Zangmu


Early morning drive to Zangmu (2300 Mts). After doing immigration & custom formalities at the border drive to your hotel for overnight stay.
   
Day 04 Zangmu / Xigar
Drive to Xigar crossing Nyalamu pass (3800 Mts) & Lalung La Pass (5050 Mts). This drive offers fantastic view of the high mountain including Everest (8848 Mts). Overnight at the hotel.

   
Day 05 Xigar / Shigatse
Drive to Shigatse, which has the famous Tashilunpo Monastery and the seat of Panchen Lama. Overnight at the hotel.

   
Day 06 Shigatse / Gyangtse
Morning visit to Tashilanpo Monastery and the free market of Shigaste. The Tashilanpo Monastery sprawls on the slope of Mt. Niser, Southwest of Shigatse. It covers an area of about 300,000 square. In the afternoon drive to Gyangtse, Tibet’s third largest city via Yamdrok Tso, a huge turquoise blue lake complete with seagulls and yaks grazing along its shore. Overnight at the hotel.

   
Day 07 Gyangtse / Lhasa
Morning drive to Lhasa (3650 Mts), crossing two passes the Karo La pass (5010 Mts) and Kampa La (4794 Mts) pass and Yamdrok Tso Lake. Overnight at the hotel.

   
Day 08 Lhasa
Morning visit the Potala palace and Drepung Monastery. The Potala Palace, a pearl on the plateau, the construction of the world famous Potala Palace was started in the 7th century during the time of the Tubo King Srontsan Gampo on the top of Mt. Putup, it is looming over the whole Lhasa city. The Potala Palace with over 1000 rooms. The palace stands up so high that it resembles a magnificent castle in the heaven. It makes itself a good example of the ancient Tibetan culture and architecture. Drepung monastery, 8 Kms West of Lhasa on the main road. This monastery is said to be the largest Monastery in the world, housing over 10000 monks and governed over 7700 subsidiary monasteries. Overnight at the hotel.

   
Day 09 Lhasa
Morning visit the Sera Monastery, Jolkhang Temple & Bhakhor Market. Sera Monastery, once it was the second largest of all monasteries in Tibet Sera. It was founded in 1419 by a disciple of Tsong Khapa. At its peak it housed over 7000 monks and was famous for its warrior monks, the Dob-Doa. Jolkhang Temple, situated in the heart of old Lhasa, houses which was brought as gift by the Chinese princes Wen Cheng on the occasion of her wedding the Tibetan King, Songtsen Gompo, surrounding the Jolkhang Temple is the bustling Bhakhor market place which is the religious and social focus of Lhasa. Bhakhor Market, walk along the Barkhor street that circles the Jolkhang and you are in the hear of the old Lhasa with its narrow streets whitewashed stone homes, windows framed in black and brightly painted wood work and almost everyone has got something to sell over there. Overnight at the hotel.

   
Day 10 Lhasa / Kathmandu
In time transfer to airport for your flight to Kathmandu. Meeting and assistance on arrival in Kathmandu airport for your onward flight to back home.
