Delhi/ Banglore / Mysore
Fly to Bangalore, one of the most beautiful cities of India. Tour the “Garden City” including a visit to Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens, the Mysore Arts and Crafts Center, and the bull temple. Continue to Mysore enroute stopping at Srirangapatanam, where the legendary warrior Tipu Sultan built his island fortress and Summer Palace. In Mysore, view the illuminated City Palace tonight. Mysore / Hassan
Mysore is a beautiful city of Stately palaces, gardens, parks and museums. Tour City Palace; Nandi (Shiva’s Bull), the Chamundi Palace and temple and the colorful and aromatic spice market. Afternoon drive to Hassan. Overnight at the hotel. |

Hassan / Banglore
Morning visit the Belur & Halebid. Belur is situated 40 kms from Hassan and has one of the finest examples of the Hoysala architecture. Some of the examples are the Chennakeshava Temple, The Chennigaraya Temple and the Viranarayana Temple. An outstanding example of Indian temple architecture is found in Halebid, meaning Old Capital. Hoyasalehwara Temple’s entire surface is covered with a succession of friezes running its entire length, featuring elephants, lions horsemen, and an incredible display of celestial beasts and birds. Afternoon drive to Bangalore and stay overnight at your hotel. |

Banglore / Chennai
Fly Bangalore to Chennai (formerly Madras), the fourth largest city in India. Meeting, assistance on arrival in Chennai & transfer to your hotel for overnight stay. |

Excursion to Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram
Day excursion to Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram. Kanchipuram , one of the seven sacred cities of India, served as a capital for several dynasties. Visit three of the best temples- Kailashnatha and Ekambareshwara, Dedicated to Lord Shiva, and Vaikuntaperumal dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Continue on the ancient Pallavan port of Mamallapuram for lunch at a seaside resort. Later visit the seventh century rock hewn monuments. The shore temple, the only surviving one of seven, is a unique example of a temple built of rock quarried elsewhere and carried to shore. A massive bas-relief carved on a cliff face depicts the descent of the Ganges, the penance of Arjuna and myriad characters from the Mahabharata. Overnight at the hotel. |
